It was another defeat for Darren Moore’s side last weekend as they were beaten 3-0 away to Reading.
Meanwhile, Daniel Farke’s men took one step closer to promotion after beating Luton Town at home last week.
A win for Wednesday will bring them four points from safety with a game in hand if results go their way.
This will be the 59th meeting between the two sides, the first coming in the FA Cup in 1908 in which Norwich came out 2-0 winners.
The Owls have beat the Canaries on just one occasion in their last five meetings, including the reverse fixture earlier this season when Norwich won 2-1.

The Owls have really struggled to find the back of the net this season, but they have scored more goals in the first half compared to the second when at Hillsborough, albeit by one.

4. Will Barry Bannan assist a goal? No
The Scotsman has set up his teammates for a goal on five occasions this season, four of them coming in the league.
It has been a while since his last assist in the Championship, though, coming in the 2-1 win over Middlesbrough in December.
This will be his 11th appearance against Norwich in his career, registering just the one assist in those 10 games.
5. Will Josh Windass score? No
The versatile midfielder has five goals in the Championship so far this season.
It’s not been too long of a wait since his last goal coming in the league, scoring twice against Luton a couple of weeks ago.
Windass has come up against Norwich on three occasions in his career, scoring once in the two games against them.
6. How many goals will Sheffield Wednesday concede? 2
Wednesday have actually got a good defensive record when playing at Hillsborough this campaign, keeping eight clean sheets from 16.
They’ve conceded just 11 goals, averaging 0.69 goals against per home game.
It wouldn’t be unusual for Norwich to score a couple of goals this weekend.
In fact, they have done so in 35% of their away games this season.
